Summary This position provides direct supervision in the Air Conditioning and Refrigeration Unit, Maintenance and Repair Section of Engineering Service at the Dayton VA Medical Center (VAMC), Dayton, Ohio. The Dayton VAMC is comprised of approximately 224 acres, 70 existing primary buildings (approximately 1,600,000 sq. ft.) and has four geographically separated Community Based Outpatient Centers in Richmond, Indiana as well as Lima, Middletown and Springfield, Ohio. Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Note: A full year of work is considered to be 35-40 hours of work per week. Part-time experience will be credited on the basis of time actually spent in appropriate activities.
