Summary This National Guard position is for a LOGISTICS MANAGEMENT SPECIALIST (TITLE 32), Position Description Number D2058000and is part of the G4, assigned to 97th ATC located in West Jordan, UT, with the Utah Army National Guard. Learn more about this agency Requirements Conditions of Employment MILITARY REQUIREMENTS: Compatible military grade and assignment required prior to the effective date of placement. This is an excepted service position that requires membership in a compatible military assignment in the employing state's National Guard. Applicants who are not currently a member of the National Guard must be eligible for immediate membership. Military Rank: Officer Compatible Military Assignments: O BR: 01A, 88A, 90A, 91A, 92A National Guard Membership is required. For positions requiring the operation of motor vehicles, candidates must have a valid state driver's license. Participation in direct deposit is mandatory. Medical screening will be completed upon selection for hire. Must be able to obtain and maintain the appropriate security clearance of the position. This position is covered by the Domestic Violence Misdemeanor Amendment (30 Sep 96) of the Gun Control Act (Lautenberg Amendment) of 1968. Qualifications *Your resume must reflect in detail how the duties and responsibilities under each position you have held with each employer meets the below listed general and specialized experience required for the position. **Must include beginning and ending dates of employment stated as MM/YYYY; and total hours worked per week in order to determine part time vs. full time credit. GENERAL EXPERIENCE: Experience, education or training involving judgment and/or analytical ability in the logistics field. Experience using computer and automation systems. Specialized Experience: 1-year specialized experience, education or training equivalent to at least GS-0346-9. (Must submit SF 50 to validate response) OR Must have specialized experience identifying activities involving logistical support operations. Experience integrating the actions of a variety of specialized support activities in order to develop a comprehensive logistics plan. Experience monitoring such functions as program planning, resource and fiscal management, training, manpower management, and/or automated data processing to meet the logistics plan. Experience identifying delays or problems and developing corrective actions. Education Not applicable for this position.
