No problem! TeamHealth is willing to train new graduates for the position and you are encouraged to apply. Previous experience as a nurse practitioner or physician assistant in an emergency department or urgent care setting is a plus. APC candidates will be required to have current ACLS, BLS and PALS certifications. Sharon Hospital features a 12,000 volume emergency department. These are currently 8 hour shifts throughout the day (APC coverage is provided in the facility from 11:00am until 7:00pm).
