Work may occasionally require travel away from the normal duty station on military or commercial aircraft.

In order to qualify, you must meet the specialized experience requirements described in the Office of Personnel Management (OPM) Qualification Standards for General Schedule Group Coverage Qualification Standard for Professional and Scientific Positions located here
SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE: Applicants must have at least one (1) year of specialized experience at the next lower broadband NH-02 or equivalent to the next lower grade GS-11 in the Federal Service. Specialized experiences is plans, organizes, and directs the activities of the organization, ensuring that professional, scientific and technical work complies with legal and regulatory requirements and meets customer needs. Establishes policies and procedures for accomplishment of work and to eliminate work problems or barriers to mission accomplishment, promote team building, and implement quality improvements.
Knowledge, Skill, and Abilities:
1. Knowledge of the theories, concepts, principles, practices, standards, methods, techniques, and materials of professional computer science, and knowledge of other technical disciplines to effectively apply computer software, software systems and computer hardware architectural theories, principles, and concepts to areas of responsibility.
2. Knowledge of safety, security, personnel management, and EEO regulations, practices, and procedures.
3. Ability to plan, organize, and direct the functions and mentor, motivate, and appraise the staff of an organization.
4. Ability to research, evaluate, interpret, and apply rules, regulations, and procedures to a variety of situations and to recommend timely and economical solutions.
5. Ability to communicate clearly, concisely, and with technical accuracy, both orally and in writing, as well as work in a professional manner with peers, management, contractors, academia, and other agencies.
Desired Skills:
Knowledgeable and experienced in the support of open-air flight and weapon testing to include data analysis and processing of range data resources for Radars, Telemetry, Digital Video, and TSPI information for both real-time mission and post-mission data reduction aspects.
2-3 years of supervisory experience is a plus.
2-5 years of experience with leading team or projects
Experience with aspects of facility management
Experience with aspects of security policy and practices
Education
Education requirements:
Bachelor's degree in computer science or bachelor's degree with 30 semester hours in a combination of mathematics, statistics, and computer
science. At least 15 of the 30 semester hours must have included any combination of statistics and mathematics that included differential and
integral calculus. All academic degrees and course work must be from accredited or pre-accredited institutions.
