Males born after 12-31-59 must be registered for Selective Service. Must obtain and maintain food handlers, CPR and First Aid Certifications. You will be required to successfully complete a pre-appointment physical examination and annual physicals thereafter, provide evidence of immunization and be free from communicable disease. You must be able to lift and carry children and objects up to 45lbs independently and over 45lbs with assistance. You will be required to obtain and maintain a current valid United States driver’s license. May be required to obtain a government driver's license. Successful completion of pre-employment drug test required. Tentative offer of employment will be rescinded if applicant fails to report to scheduled drug test appointment. Incumbents of drug testing designated positions are subject to random testing You must satisfactorily complete all background checks in accordance with DoD and Marine Corps policy for employees who provide childcare services. The applicant must complete a NACI on SF-85. Failure to obtain a favorable suitability determination is grounds for removal. Qualifications Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-04 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Providing expertise in appropriate specialized developmental care and instruction for children and youth in specialized Children and Youth Programs; providing child instruction and training to lower-level employees. Education Successful completion of four years of education above high school. OR A combination of experience and education as described above that equates to one year of experience.
