Summary About the position: This position will be assigned to the Travis Marina in Sausalito, CA. Physical Effort: Ability to occasionally lift and carry objects weighting 40 pounds or more. Learn more about this agency Requirements Conditions of Employment This position requires the incumbent to complete a background investigation with favorable results. This position requires the completion of a pre-employment Physical Examination. The duties of this position require the incumbent to possess or obtain and maintain a valid state Driver's License in one of the 50 U.S. states or possessions to operate vehicles. This position is subject to a pre-employment screening, and random testing thereafter, to include testing based on reasonable suspicion and testing due to direct involvement with an on-duty accident. Qualifying Experience: Experience which has demonstrated skill in installing and repairing docks, doors, boats, and wall mounted furniture in the Marina. Experience performing repair and maintenance work on a variety of small equipment. Requires knowledge and experience in plumbing, carpentry, electrical, and painting trades. Requires knowledge and skill in the use of job related hand tools and machines. Must possess a valid motor vehicle operator's license. Education Some federal jobs allow you to substitute your education for the required experience in order to qualify. This position does not allow for education substitution. Additional information Individual must fully meet qualification/eligibility/background requirements for this position.
