NES Health seeks an Emergency Medicine Physician to join our practice at PeaceHealth Ketchikan Medical Center located in Ketchikan, Alaska.    About the Hospital  25 Bed Community Hospital  Owned by PeaceHealth  EPIC EMR  Level IV Trauma Center    Coverage includes:?  Radiology??  Pediatrics on-call?  Anesthesiology on-call?  Ultrasound?  OB/GYN on-call?  Hospitalist?  6 bed ICU    About the Program and Hours  8 Bed Emergency Department  7,500 Annual Visit ED  15% admission rate from the ED  Both EM and HM physicians respond to in-house codes  ED sometimes asked to perform procedures  12- or 24-hour shifts     Qualifications  Active Alaska in the state or ability to attain unrestricted state license  Candidate Must be BE/BC in EM  Active ACLS, ATLS, BLS, and PALS    About the Community   Ketchikan’s economy is based upon government services, tourism and commercial fishing.
