Incentives and Bonuses Incentives will not be paid. Duties Leads a staff of 3-12 employees who perform work up to the NF-0189-03 level. Sets the pace of work to be performed. Serves as a recreation assistant in support of recreational activities applying a practical knowledge of recreational activities and skills in the use of recreation materials, and facilities. May be required to help plan, conduct, publicize and arrange support for a variety of sponsored events, social activities, tournaments and related functions. Leads and reviews work assignments on a daily, weekly, or longer basis. May train lower graded or new employees. Performs other job-related duties as assigned. Requirements Conditions of employment Direct Deposit and Social Security Card is required. Meet qualification/eligibility/background requirements for this position. A one-year probationary period may be required. Satisfactorily complete an employment verification (E-Verify) check. Subject to satisfactory completion of all pre-employment checks in accordance with AR 215-3, para.2 to include a Tier 1 background investigation. Must be able to lift and carry objects weighing up to 45 pounds. Successful completion of a pre-hire physical is required. Must be able to work a schedule that includes working evenings, weekends, and holidays. Qualifications Resumes must be two pages (or less). A qualified candidate must possess the following: Work experience or education directly related to the duties to be performed. In addition to the above qualifications, candidates who possess the following qualifications will be considered "Highly Preferred" or "Best Qualified": Six months of experience training new employees. Six months of experience in support of recreational activities applying recreational skills to facilities and equipment. Six months of experience leading or coordinating a team in a customer service recreation environment, ensuring adherence to safety, operational, and daily reporting procedures.
