**Interventional Cardiology opening in the Houston metro area** * Located in ***The Woodlands, TX*** - part of the Houston-The Woodlands-Sugar Land metropolitan area * Full-time, permanent opening * Employed position * Joining an established, growing Cardiology practice * Mentorship support avaialble * Office is approximately 6300 square feet * 1:3 weekend call schedule, STEMI * Prefer a start date ASAP **Responsibilities:** * Evaluate and treat patients with appropriate medical diagnostic and treatment skills * Coordinate discharge planning with case management * Recommend, participate in, and work to ensure the success of efforts to improve cost effectiveness and quality of care provided to patients * Accept patient referrals from other physicians * Act as admitting, attending and/or consulting physician for patients who require hospitalization for primary medical diagnoses, depending on needs of patients, medical staff and hospital * Participate in inpatient and outpatient consultation for specialty, which may include on call schedules **Requirements:** * Experience preferred, but open to newly graduated fellows * Training in Echo, Nuclear, TEEs desirable * Required proficiency in pacemaker implants * Preferred proficiency with defibrillators and peripheral vascular work * Preferred proficiency in extremity support for vascular access and/or lower extremity **Compensation/Benefits:** * Competitive salary * Comprehensive benefits including health, dental and vision * Relocation assistance * Paid occurrence based malpractice insurance * Vacation and CME annually * Annual CME allowance Additional Information: - Specialty: Interventional Cardiology - Location: The Woodlands, Texas - Contact: Jeremy Baldi About the Company: Archway Physician Recruitment is a national contingency placement firm assisting hospitals and medical groups with their placement needs.
