Locums Hospitalist Nocturnist Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner

We are seeking an experienced Physician Assistant (PA) or Acute Care Nurse Practitioner (ACNP) to join our team as a Locums Hospitalist Nocturnist in San Antonio, TX. This is a night shift position where you will provide essential patient care in an open ICU setting.  The position requires working night shifts from 7 PM to 7 AM on-site for the entire shift. It includes weekend and night shifts, with no on-call requirements.  As a Locums Hospitalist Nocturnist, you will be responsible for managing inpatient care, including admissions, consultations, and continuous monitoring of patients throughout the night. You will work independently to evaluate and treat patients, respond to urgent medical situations, and collaborate with the on-site healthcare team. Additionally, you will provide care in the ICU, making clinical decisions and ensuring optimal patient outcomes. Requirements:  Certification as a Physician Assistant (PA) or Acute Care Nurse Practitioner (ACNP) Experience working in an ICU or hospitalist setting Active Texas license BLS and ACLS certifications Must be comfortable with independent decision-making in an acute care environment San Antonio is a vibrant city known for its rich cultural history, iconic attractions like the Alamo, and the famous River Walk.
