Summary This position is located at Fort Huachuca Family & Morale, Welfare and Recreation: Barnes Field House. This is a Flexible position 0 guaranteed hours, but could work between 0-40 hours per week, and with no eligibility to participate in the NAF Employee Benefits Plans.. Incentives and Bonuses Incentives will not be paid. Duties Serves as a Facility Aid in a Fitness Facility. Works under the direction of the Facility Manager. Assists the Facility Manager in the overall operation of a fitness facility. Circulates among patrons to assure service is satisfactory: provides information and general instruction on the use of equipment, facilities, and machinery. Assists in setting up for instructors, contractors, events, athletic activities, and related functions. Performs facility cleanliness and/or monitors contracts. Assists with publicity of programs and events and assists with the delivery and placement of posters, flyers and other promotional material. Issues/receives equipment to authorized users. Monitors fitness equipment condition; tracks maintenance and repair or replacement as appropriate. Cleans and performs minor maintenance on facility equipment. Requirements Conditions of employment Direct Deposit and Social Security Card is required. Meet qualification/eligibility/background requirements for this position. Satisfactorily complete an employment verification (E-Verify) check. Appointment subject to favorable suitability determination. Subject to satisfactory completion of all pre-employment checks in accordance with AR 215-3, para.2 to include a Tier 1 background investigation. Must possess the following within 6 months of employment: MWR Orientation Course, Customer Service. Must be willing and able to work Days, Nights, Weekends, and all Federal Holidays. Allowances and Differentials This job is part of a pay-banded system. Sunday premium pay for regularly scheduled employees and night differential pay may be authorized by the Garrison Commander. Non-foreign overseas allowances, cost of living (COLA), and differentials will not be paid, contingent upon eligibility.
