Within the Department of Defense (DoD), the appointment of retired military members within 180 days immediately following retirement date to a civilian position is subject to the provisions of 5 United States Code 3326. There may be heavy workload and or short deadlines for processing work that may require overtime work. You will be required to wear personal protective equipment such as helmets, gloves, coveralls, glasses, goggles, respirators and safety shoes continuously for the duration of the work shift. Work is performed in areas where potentially harmful physical and chemical agents are present (e.g. fumes, dust, heat, ionizing and non-ionizing radiation and chemicals). Qualifications Trident Refit Facility in Bangor, WA is seeking a highly skilled Refit Manager to coordinate advanced refit planning efforts for our fleet of Submersible Ship Ballistic Nuclear (SSBN) Submarines to servein the Business and Program Support Department (Code 900) of Trident Refit Facility (TRF), Bangor WA. To qualify at the GS-12 level: Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector providing program management services relative to the refit planning, and analysis of the TRIDENT Class Submarines maintenance plan. To qualify at the GS-11 level: Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-09 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector providing logistics review, refit planning and execution, or analysis in support of the TRIDENT Class Submarines maintenance plan.
