You will be required to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final Top Secret SCI security clearance prior to entrance on duty. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal.
This position is covered under the Defense Acquisition Workforce Improvement Act (DAWIA). Certification in the Acquisition Functional Area and category assigned to the position is required within established category timeframes.
This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
You will be required to complete training, obtain, and maintain a government credit card for travel and travel-related purchases.
Generally, current Federal employees applying to APS jobs must serve at least one year at the next lower grade level. All qualifications and pay band requirements must be met by the closing date of this announcement and documented in your resume.

Successful completion of a pre-employment drug test (including marijuana) is required. A tentative offer of employment will be rescinded if you fail to report to the drug test appointment or fail the test. You will be subject to random testing.
Qualifications
Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-13 grade level or DP-03 pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: developing, integrating, and testing of new Information Warfare Systems; and providing overarching technical direction regarding requirements, design, verification, validation, and all other technical aspects of producing and maintaining critical information warfare systems throughout their life cycle.

This position is in the Personnel Demonstration Project under authority of Title VII of the Civil Service Reform Act of 1978.
The pay schedule and pay band for all Demonstration Project Professional Positions will be DP-1/2/3/4.
This position is eligible for part time, full time or ad-hoc telework at the discretion of management.
If selected, your salary will be set according to the established control points of this position which is $139,176 - $180,931 (Base $104,604-$135,987 plus 33.05% locality adjustment).
The salary range shown above represents all of the positions within the pay band, including higher responsibility positions. Based on the responsibilities of this position (Tier 2), the total adjusted salary may be capped equivalent to GS 14 Step 10 (currently $180,931)" pay band, including higher responsibility positions.
