Summary
This is a public notice flyer to notify interested applicants of anticipated vacancies. Applications will not be accepted through this flyer. Duties
You will work directly with customers to solve technical problems and provide technical support.
You will work with the Program Manager to implement integrated action plans and changes in response to changes in customer requirements; resolve issues related to the delivery of services.
You will perform a full range of customer support services including supporting the implementation of new systems, protocols or other IT equipment utilized by customer organizations and overseeing training and development of training aids.
You will serve as a Common Submarine Radio Room Subject Matter Expert utilizing knowledge and experience to support the design, installation, upgrades, testing, and sustainment of Common Submarine Radio Room equipment
You will provide technical support, managing fleet support resources, (personnel, funding, and equipment), coordinating schedules and communicating directly with Common Submarine Radio Room Lead, Sponsors and stakeholders

Within the Department of Defense (DoD), the appointment of retired military members within 180 days immediately following retirement date to a civilian position is subject to the provisions of 5 United States Code 3326.

This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
You will be required to successfully complete a pre-appointment physical examination.
You will be required to obtain and maintain a current valid United States driverβs license.
Successful completion of a pre-employment drug test (including marijuana) is required. A tentative offer of employment will be rescinded if you fail to report to the drug test appointment or fail the test. You will be subject to random testing.
This is a Mission Essential position. You will be required to ensure organization or facility continuity of operations and/or completion of tasks that are considered essential to the mission designated by a local or command decision.
You will be required to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final security clearance prior to entrance on duty. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal.
This position is designated as a Cyber IT/Cybersecurity Workforce position. You must obtain and maintain the credentials as described in SECNAV M-5239.2 for specialty area 411 level Intermediate within 12 months of appointment.
This position is subject to work an uncommon tour, including nights, weekends, and holidays to meet mission requirements. Overtime or night differential pay and/or unusual duty hours may be required.
Qualifications
Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-10 grade level or NO-03 pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following:
Ability to perform a full range of customer support services related to Information Technology. Utilizes knowledge and experience to support the design and installation of Information Technology equipment. Experience with implementing new systems and overseeing training and development

Education
FOR NO-04:
Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree or 3 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to a Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree
FOR NO-05:
Must have one year of specialized experience - cannot substitute education

This position is covered by the Department of Defense Priority Placement Program.
