Locums Pediatric Hospitalist Physician

We are seeking an experienced Locums Pediatric Hospitalist Physician to join our team in Dallas, TX, providing inpatient pediatric care in a hospital setting. This position involves a rotating coverage model, where two physicians serve as day rounders from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM, with one physician taking night call. The role includes weekend coverage, ensuring continuous patient care, and candidates should be prepared for scheduled night call responsibilities.The Pediatric Hospitalist Physician will provide comprehensive care to pediatric inpatients, including performing rounds during the day and covering night call as needed. Responsibilities include managing acute and chronic pediatric conditions, responding to patient needs overnight, and maintaining consistent quality care over weekends. Collaboration with the broader healthcare team is essential to deliver a safe, family-centered environment for all patients. Requirements: Board Certification in PediatricsActive Texas medical license (or willingness to obtain)Certifications required: ACLS, ATLS, BLS, BTLS, and PALSAvailability to cover weekends and on-call shifts as requiredDallas offers a unique blend of Southern charm and urban sophistication.
