Summary This position is located within Commander, Mid-Atlantic Region, Fleet and Family Readiness Program NAVSTA Great Lakes Epicenter in Great Lakes, IL. The purpose of this position is to provide beverage service in a dining room, bar/lounge facility. Requirements Conditions of Employment Must pass all applicable records and background check. Must successfully pass the E-Verify employment verification check. Any discrepancies must be resolved as a condition of employment. Must be 21 years or older. A State ID or (Driver's License) will be requested in order to continue with the background investigation and have access to any Federal Building. Acceptable IDs include a U.S Passport or Passport Card or a permanent resident card (Green Card). Qualifications Resumes must include information which demonstrates experience and knowledge, skills, and ability (KSAs) as they relate to this position. Applicants are encouraged to be clear and specific when describing their experience level and KSAs. A qualified candidate must possess: Knowledge of basic arithmetic and cash handling procedures to compute changes and make change quickly and accurately. Must possess working knowledge of sanitation practices and procedures. Must be a mature individual who can exercise control over a large group of people to ensure good order and discipline as necessary. Must possess working knowledge and skill to mix and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages from a limited bar. A minimum of six months' experience is strongly preferred. Education This position does not have a positive education requirement. Additional information Salary is dependent on experience and/or education.
