Bar Assistant

Summary The Yukon Club is a wonderful addition to Eielson AFB. This position will be assigned to the Ben's Den at the Yukon Club. Come help be apart of the successful private parties, squadron functions and special affairs. Incumbent must be 21+ years of age. APPLICATIONS WILL BE PULLED ON FRIDAYS AT 8:00AM UNTIL POSITION IS FILLED. Duties Carries supplies and equipment, such as liquors, fruits, ice, glasses, linens and silverware from storage areas to the bar. Slices and peels fruit. Fills ice bins and crushes ice. Washes and cleans bar glasses, bar equipment and keeps the work area clean and neat. Replaces empty beer kegs with full kegs with the aid of a dolly; stocks beer coolers. Wipes down the interior and exterior surfaces of coolers. s in setting up service bars and portable bars. Carries debris to waste containers. May serve bottle beer, soft drinks and draw beer from kegs. Performs other related duties as assigned. Must meet state and legal age requirements for sale of alcoholic beverages. This position has physical lifting requirements which requires the incumbent to complete a favorable pre-employment physical. This position requires the incumbent to be able to obtain a Food Handler's Certificate and/or complete food handler's training. Qualifications Who May Apply: Open to everyone. Qualifying Experience: No previous training or experience is required Ability to follow simple oral instructions, and be able to use knives and automatic slicers to prepare garnishes. Ability to frequently lift objects weighing 5 to 15 pounds, pull and push objects weighing 10 to 20 pounds, and occasionally lift up to and over 40 pounds.. Education Some federal jobs allow you to substitute your education for the required experience in order to qualify. This position does not allow for education substitution. FOREIGN EDUCATION: Education completed in foreign colleges or universities may be used to meet the requirements. You must show proof the education credentials have been deemed to be at least equivalent to that gained in conventional U.S. education program.
