Excellent OB Hospitalist Opportunity – 50 mins from O’Hare Airport and 90 mins from Chicago

Mercyhealth is seeking an OB Hospitalist to join our team at Mercyhealth Javon Bea Hospital – Riverside Campus, a baby-friendly designated facility.  In January 2019, we opened a new $505 million, 530,000 square foot Women's and Children's Hospital - the only state-designated children's hospital in northern Illinois. A Level I Trauma Center and Pediatric Critical Care Center, with the region's highest level 52-bed NICU; we're providing the highest level of specialized care for our babies.

Mercyhealth is an award-winning, multi-regional, integrated health system comprising 7 hospitals, more than 800 employed physicians, over 85 outpatient clinics and other service sites that provide care to residents in more than 55 communities throughout northern Illinois and southern Wisconsin. We provide over 125 specialty and sub-specialty services, including adult and pediatric critical care, neonatal intensive care, neurosurgery, heart and vascular care, cancer care, plastic and reconstructive surgery, da Vinci robotic surgery and much more!

Opportunity:

• Full time hospital employed opportunity
• Cover labor and delivery, with limited gynecology
• Delivery of all MFM patients and patients that present with no doctor
• Circumcisions on postpartum unit
• Rounding/Discharge on postpartum and antepartum unit
• Assist core group of doctor’s with C-sections
• Beautiful, large, labor and delivery suites and recovery rooms
• On-site Level III Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU)
• Schedule is 8, 24 hour shifts per month – flexible schedule
• EPIC EMR
