UT Health East Texas is seeking an Acute Care Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our
dedicated Cardiothoracic Surgery team in the beautiful city of Tyler, TX. We welcome both
experienced and graduating acute care nurse practitioners and physician assistants who are
passionate about ICU practice and hospital rounding on cardiovascular and thoracic patients.
About
this CVICU ACNP/PA Job Opening:
Group Type: Single-Specialty
Employment Type: Full-Time (1.0 FTE),
Inpatient Only
Team: Collaborate with 2 Surgeons, 2 Nurse Practitioners, and a supportive
staff
Practice Setting: Mainly ICU with hospital rounding on Cardiothoracic/Vascular Surgery
patients
Patient Load: Daily expectation of 15-20 patients
Schedule: Rotational shifts with some
weekend requirements
Call Duty: 1:3 clinic call, telephone only
EMR system: Epic
