Access Control I

Valiant is looking for an Access Control Guard to join our team! ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: • Will confirm security status of all individuals who enter the building and issue the required badge. • Responsible to report any irregularities or problems to the Site Manager for resolution. • Update and maintain an accurate security clearance lists when provided by the appropriate authorities. • Required to prepare quarterly badge and facility reports. • The guard will make rounds of the facility as prescribed by the Site Manager. • Will be responsible for the cleanliness of the guard station. • Must be willing to work any shift required to include weekend duty as required. • Perform other task as assigned by the Site Manager or his designated representative. CLEARANCE REQUIREMENT:Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance.PREFERRED:Active Secret • Ability to follow written and verbal instructions given in English. • Must present a professional appearance in dress and demeanor at all times. • Must be able to work well with all levels of Military and Civilian personnel. • Must be computer literate and be able to use and access basic computer programs (Microsoft products, Excel, PDF etc.). • Ability to secure a US Passport. • Applicant will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements to receive and maintain a SECRET clearance for access to classified information. • PREFERRED:2+ years of security experience is desired. PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: • Physical ability to walk, stand, and/or sit for extended periods of time, and to climb two (2) sets of stairs is required. • Must be able to lift and carry 50 pounds.
