I. Job Summary | Major goals and objectives:
The Entertainment Group (ENT) at Dotdash Meredith (DDM) is seeking a seasoned advertising sales and marketing professional with a proven track record of driving revenue to exceed quota. Candidate needs to be a team player who is organized, a great communicator, solutions-oriented, and able to work in a fast-paced and high sales volume environment for two leading brands in the entertainment space: PEOPLE and Entertainment Weekly.
II. Essential Job Functions | Accountabilities, Actions and Expected Measurable Results : Increase sales, generate revenue, secure new business, continue relationship management & development.

Pay Range
Salary: $128,000 - $160,000
The pay range above represents the anticipated low and high end of the pay range for this position and may change in the future. Actual pay may vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including but not limited to work location, experience, and performance. The range listed is just one component of Dotdash Meredith's total compensation package for employees. Other compensation may include annual bonuses, and short- and long-term incentives. - 40% - Manage senior list of high-profile accounts
- 40% - Grow existing business & create new opportunities for PEOPLE and EW
- 20% - Work collaboratively with internal stakeholders (sales & marketing teams, account strategists, RevOps, etc)
III. Minimum Qualifications and Job Requirements | All must be met to be considered.
Education:
- Bachelor's Degree Required
Experience:
- 5+ years in advertising sales
Specific Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Experience in both digital and print ad sales
- Entertainment category experience preferred
- Must have experience in Los Angeles and a proven track record
- % Travel Required: very little to no travel outside of LA Metro area
- Weekly client entertaining is expected.
