Job Description
This position is directly responsible for developing and nurturing relationships with existing clients; promoting the sales of additional services, new technologies and content offerings; and establishing new customers within the Residence Life Cinema Division (RLC) of Swank Motion Pictures through routine communication with clients.
In addition to the above, the Account Manager is responsible for creating long-term client partnerships and working closely with the RLC team throughout contract renewal process. Therefore, this role requires the business skills needed for maintaining Client relationships, strategic planning, communicating Client issues to management and ensuring issues are resolved and documented.
The overall objective of this position is the pursuit of excellence through an open partnership with internal and external customers. This is accomplished through understanding and achieving the best outcomes for the corporation. To do so, one must have an understanding of our customer needs and how they impact other department need in order to implement, maintain, and support the products and services sold by Swank Motion Pictures.

Client Interactions
The Account Manager is Responsible for
- Developing and maintaining strong relationships with Clients
- Continue to build perceived value in the products with our Clients
- Assisting and communicating with Clients (via phone, emails and some in-person visits) regarding
- Swank programs and their usage
- Product pricing
- Movie orders and reminders
- Content publicity and promotional materials
- Movie selections and confirmations
- Contract renewals
- General inquires
- Swank Residence Life Cinema updates including new releases, website, service announcements, etc.
- Returning phone calls and emails in an expedient manner
- Travel up to 25% to client sites and attends conferences as a means to
- Maintain existing business
- Build relationships with prospects and Clients
- Compiling Orientation folders and conducting new contact orientations
Administration Activities
The Account Manager is Responsible for
- Handling Client emergencies as the highest priority
- Writing contracts for renewals
- Assisting in developing sales, marketing and service strategies
- Acting within company policies and guidelines of conduct and performance of role
- Attending to other duties and special projects as assigned
- Training incoming Account Managers
Tracking Activities
The Account Manager is Responsible for
- Updating and distributing revenue and sales numbers to leadership
- Compiling and sending the monthly order status
- Tracking and maintaining accuracy of records pertaining to
- Current Clients
- Contract renewals
- Tracking and submitting contracts and sales profiles to Accounting and Payroll
- Notifying appropriate departments regarding updates needed for websites
Professional Requirements
The Account Manager Should
- Have one to three years of demonstrated success in account management field
- Have a proven track record in developing positive Client relationships and seeking ways to increase Client satisfaction and loyalty
- Exhibit good communication skills including being a good listener and showing interest in what others have to say
- Demonstrate a high degree of commitment to the organization and be committed to professionalism in the workplace
- Possess good organizational skills and the ability to manage tasks in a high-volume, high stress environment
- Be flexible in meeting business needs within other Swank departments as necessary
- Ability to travel up to 25% of the time
Educational Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree Required
