The Account Manager BioProcess (d/f/m) is responsible for driving overall customer success aligned to the Cytiva strategy. You own the overall customer relationship across the accounts and are the primary contact between the company and customers. You grow the business through an understanding of the market, familiarity with the needs of customer, and knowledge of the product portfolio.

This position reports to the Zone Leader East and is part of the BioProcess Sales Team located in Austria and will be fully remote.

What you will do:

  • ​Represent Cytiva and function as a primary customer point of contact in all allocated accounts and in the territory for CDMO and Biotech customer segments

  • Identify opportunities and support team in developing opportunities

  • Develop and maintain a full understanding of the Cytiva value proposition and a high-level knowledge of competitive products and services 

  • Prospecting, forecasting, generating proposals, preparing sales quotations, initiating, and planning customer visits at all levels of the customer organization

Who you are

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, life sciences or relevant field

  • Several years of commercial experience, preferably in the Biotechnology industry

  • Sales technique including cross selling, upselling, value positions and funnel management

  • Business market knowledge and ability to translate technical advantages into business benefits

  • Fluent in German and English

Travel, Motor Vehicle Record & Physical/Environment Requirements:

  • Ability to travel around 50% within Austria

  • A valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record

Cytiva, a Danaher operating company, offers a broad array of comprehensive, competitive benefit programs that add value to our lives. The salary for this role is approx. 85.000€ gross and depends on your qualifications and relevant work experience. A very attractive variable compensation rounds up a total compensation package.
