Account Receivable specialist

You as a General Accountant for Southern African Countries will be part of the Hitachi Energy business based in Modderfontein, South Africa. You will Process accounting transactions for Accounts Receivable (AR) in a complete, accurate and timely manner while ensuring compliance with internal guidelines and procedures and external regulatory requirements.

Your responsibilities

• You will process Accounts Receivable transactions, ensuring accurate tracking and processing.
• You will perform necessary activities within the Accounts Receivable area to ensure accurate and timely reporting.
• You will execute analysis and reports as assigned and takes appropriate action as necessary.
• You will comply with and helps achieve Internal Control over Financial Reporting compliance in Accounts Payable for applicable templates. Participate in internal control testing and prepares relevant documentation.
• Communicate with all relevant stakeholders on the progress and/or disputes to maximize customer satisfaction.
• Processes Accounts Receivable transactions, ensuring accurate tracking and processing.
• Performs necessary activities within the Accounts Receivable area to ensure accurate and timely reporting.

• A graduate degree in Accounting or Finance.
• Proficiency in both spoken & written English.
• SAP operation preferred, good skills in MS Excel.
