Account Representative

Clariant is currently looking for an Account Representative to assist the Care Chemicals business unit in Broussard, LA. The Account Representative will help manage and maintain relationships with clients through field support, troubleshooting, and value-delivery, to meet customer expectations. The primary goal of this role is to ensure client satisfaction, foster long-term partnerships, and drive revenue growth for Clariant. This position is a hybrid role that requires a rotating schedule of 14 days offshore and 14 days remote.

Responsibilities• Establish and maintain strong relationships with assigned clients• Understand client needs, preferences, and goals to provide tailored solutions• Act as a primary point of contact for client inquiries, concerns, and requests• Identify upselling and cross-selling opportunities based on client needs• Present and promote company products and services to clients• Work with Account Managers to execute sales strategies and negotiate terms and pricing to secure new business and contracts• Effectively communicate product features, benefits, and value propositions to clients• Provide clear and accurate information to clients regarding orders, deliveries, and services• Collaborate with internal teams to address client needs and resolve issues• Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and market dynamics• Provide insights to clients about industry best practices and potential opportunities• Manage the offshore facility production chemical program which involves daily reporting on inventory, quality assurance, and quality control

Requirements• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Chemical, Mechanical, or Petroleum), Chemistry, Business, or Industrial Distribution• 2-5 years of experience with oil & gas chemical production • Must be able to travel 50% of time with a rotating schedule of 14 days offshore and 14 days remote• Excellent verbal/written communication skills, presentation skills, and problem-solving ability
