WhatYou Will Learn:

Thisrole drives changes and improvements to the supply chain by managing deductionresolutions. Facilitate these changes byworking with appropriate internal and external business partners. Work tostreamline internal deduction processes. Understanding when issues need to be escalated and provide appropriatesummarized information to suggest/enable decisions.

Tasks, duties andresponsibilities:

  • Research numeroustypes of retailer deductions including, but not limited to violations, shortages,pricing, handling and returns. Determine root cause and appropriate actions forresolution
  • Analyze trends inopen deductions on the A/R in order to reduce discrepancies and implementpermanent resolutions to drive improvements and results
  • Improveend-to-end supply chain processes
  • Prepare monthlyreports for Management, maintaining the A/R system by offsetting approvedchargebacks and preparing adjustments for valid deductions
  • Prepareprofessional quality emails and spreadsheets for communicating with keycustomers and Sales on the status of open deductions, including requests forrepayment of invalid deductions
  • Lead projects toimprove the efficiency of deductions processing and increase standardizationamongst accounts
  • Represent supplychain at variety of divisional meetings and collaborate with internal andexternal partners of the supply chain
  • Communicateeffectively with key account directors, sales AVPs, finance directors and AVPsto resolve open deductions and ensure they are accrued on the P/L according tothe budgets and negotiated contracts
  • Collaborate withthe credit team to proactively resolve deductions and reduce open items on theA/R
  • Collaborate withcash application to improve deduction coding and application
  • Negotiate withretailers to resolve open deductions on the A/R

What We Are Looking For:

Required Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or equivalentrequired. 4-year college degree in Finance, Supply Chain or other Businessrelated discipline preferred.
  • Experience in or exposure to SupplyChain preferably with accounts receivable/financial experience
  • Proficient skills in Excel, Word andOutlook
  • Excellent analytical skills
  • Negotiation skills
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Excellent communication,interpersonal and organizational skills
  • Ability to handle multiple projectssimultaneously with strong attention to detail
  • Enthusiasm to work in a fast paced,team-oriented environment
