Salary:$25 - 27 per hour Reference:388522AK Job Title: Staff AccountantJob Summary: We are seeking a detail-oriented and organizedStaff Accountantto join our accounting team. The ideal candidate will assist with the preparation of financial statements, maintain general ledger accounts, perform account reconciliations, and support month-end and year-end close processes. Key Responsibilities: • Prepare and post journal entries and maintain the general ledger. • Perform monthly, quarterly, and annual account reconciliations. • Assist in the preparation of financial statements and reports. • Support month-end and year-end close processes. • Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions. • Reconcile bank statements and monitor cash flow. • Assist with internal and external audits. • Ensure compliance with GAAP and internal financial policies. • Maintain accurate and organized financial records. • Support budgeting and forecasting activities as needed. Qualifications: • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. • 1–3 years of accounting or finance experience (entry-level candidates may be considered). • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, NetSuite, SAP). • Knowledge of GAAP and standard accounting procedures. • Strong attention to detail and accuracy. • Excellent organizational and time-management skills. • Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Preferred Qualifications: • CPA or working toward CPA certification. • Experience with financial reporting software or ERP systems. Work Environment: • Full-time, typically Monday through Friday. • Hybrid or on-site (depending on company policy). • May require occasional overtime during peak periods (e.g., quarter-end, year-end).
