Job Summary
All Nation Restoration is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in accounting practices. You will be responsible for managing financial records, preparing financial statements, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements. This role requires proficiency in accounting software and a solid understanding of GAAP principles.
Responsibilities
• Prepare and maintain accurate financial statements and reports in accordance with GAAP.
• Conduct account reconciliations, including balance sheet reconciliation and general ledger reconciliation.
• Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes, ensuring timely payments and collections.
• Perform financial analysis, including cash flow analysis and budgeting.
• Assist in tax preparation and compliance with securities law and regulatory reporting.
• Utilize various accounting software such as QuickBooks, Quicken, Sage, Xero, and PeopleSoft for efficient financial management.
• Mentor junior staff members in accounting practices and procedures.
• Oversee payroll processing and ensure accuracy in journal entries.
• Conduct audits to ensure compliance with internal controls and financial regulations.
• Prepare forecasts and assist in corporate finance activities.
Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA or relevant certification preferred.
• Strong understanding of Quickbooks
• Extensive knowledge of SOX compliance, LIHTC regulations, technical accounting principles, and public accounting standards.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for financial report writing and interpretation.
• Strong understanding of double-entry bookkeeping, debits & credits, accrual accounting, and financial concepts.
• Experience with financial software applications for effective account analysis and management.
• Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data.
• Strong communication skills for effective collaboration within teams and mentoring roles.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $50,000.00 per year
