Job Summary

An opportunity to join a developing finance team for a significant carve out entity with a global footprint as it stands up financial policies, procedures and controls. Potential candidates need to be willing to roll up their sleeves, demonstrate an eye for details and strong ability in problem solving. The role offers exposure to a range of financial and other department leadership, as well as opportunities to be involved in a wide variety of both accounting and financial areas. The candidate will be able to see end to end finance processes from Accounting to FP&A. 

Primary Responsibilities

• Supporting close process for multiple entities for both US and international
• Ownership of journal entries, account reconciliations and variance analysis for the areas of responsibility
• Performs general accounting and other related duties
• Provides outside auditors with assistance; gathers necessary account information and documents to perform annual audit
• Supporting the preparation of financial forecasts and budgets in addition to variance analysis against actuals
• Support to document and improve closing processes
• Help to re-insource the accounting function from a 3rd party outsourcer
• Involvement in projects across finance and accounting

Qualifications

• 2-4+ years of general accounting experience; preferably including Retail/Wholesale/Consumer Goods
• Self-driven with strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Curious / Adaptable and with ability to pivot as needed
• Understanding of US GAAP and general accounting concepts
• Accounting degree preferred

In accordance with the Pay Transparency requirements, the following represents a good faith estimate of the compensation range for this position.

At Orveon Global, we carefully consider a wide range of non-discriminatory factors when determining salary. Actual salaries will vary depending on factors including but not limited to location, education, experience, and qualifications.

The pay range for this position is $50,000 - $83,000

The range listed is just one component of Orveon’s total compensation package for employees.
