Accountant

Summary:This position monitors and maintains financial activities and provides financial reporting support for the department. Essential Duties and Responsibilities (other duties may be assigned): • Maintain FA ledger and prepare FA reports • Monitor company Capital Expenditure on monthly basis • Perform annual FA physical inventory count • Prepare monthly financial reporting package • Assist in preparation of ASE monthly review reports • Collect the annual budgeting data • Assist in quarterly and yearly audit • Prepare monthly Sales & Use Tax file • Reconcile the operation and payroll account • Update GL account analysis and reconcile to the GL balance • Reconcile the property register to the FA master file. Prepare the annual property tax return • Assist in year end tax provision calculation • Assist government report quarterly & annually • Special projects as assigned Education and/or Experience: • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting • Minimum of 3 year experience in Accounting Knowledge, Abilities and Skills: • Requires considerable knowledge of: modern office methods and procedures; modern business English, spelling and arithmetic; the operations of common office machines and equipment. • Requires considerable ability to: use good judgment in making routine decisions in accordance with existing laws, ordinances, regulations and departmental policies and procedures; establish and maintain satisfactory working relationships with departmental personnel and customers. Computer Skills: • Microsoft Office Suite, advanced excel skills preferred • MS Great Plains and Business Central preferred • MS FRx Reporting Tool preferred Other Skills and Abilities • Ability to handle multiple detailed oriented tasks • Strong teamwork and interpersonal skills • Strong communication skills • Chinese speaking preferred Physical Demands: The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
