Overview

Rain Bird is seeking a skilled, knowledgeable, and energetic professional to join our dynamic accounting department. In this high-energy, high-volume environment, you'll collaborate with various functions across the company to safeguard our assets.

Responsibilities

This position involves performing essential accounting duties for Rain Bird. The primary focus will be on statutory and tax-related tasks.

• Preparation of monthly sales and property tax filings.
• Manage monthly VAT filing and reclaim process.
• Prepare accounting reports for the Mexican Tax Authority on a monthly basis.
• Ensure timely preparation and submission of all Mexican financial electronic reporting.
• Reconciliation of applicable general ledger accounts.
• Handle daily Accounts Payable requirements

Qualifications

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

• Excellent oral and written communication skills in both Spanish and English
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related business field
• Excellent analytical and communication skills, with a high level of accuracy in all tasks.
• 3-5 years of accounting experience.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
• Strong teamwork and collaboration skills.
• Good organizational and time management skills with the ability to make sound business decisions and accept responsibility.

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• MBA or equivalent.
• Strong knowledge of US GAAP accounting principles and practices.
• Proficiency in accounting software.
