The Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Accounting to join our team in Honduras. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing advanced accounting tasks, including preparing financial statements, analyzing financial data, and ensuring compliance with accounting regulations.
We are looking for a proactive, communicative candidate with excellent knowledge of Excel and Gsheets, analytical thinking, and a willingness to work under pressure and time limits.

What You’ll Do:

• Record invoices, receipts, and payments to suppliers and contractors.
• Prepare detailed journal entries, account reconciliations, balance sheets, and income statements.
• Prepare local legal books and other reports required by Honduras law.
• Manage fixed assets and monitor depreciation schedules.
• Assist the Finance team with all information required for month-end financial and tax deliverables.
• Assist the finance team in preparing documents and reports for internal or external audits.

What We Expect From You:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting.
• Certified Accountant accreditation in Honduras.
• Minimum of three years of accounting experience.
• Strong proficiency in Excel or Gsheets.
• Preferably with knowledge of Oracle Netsuite or similar systems.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Proactive, independent, and able to handle multiple tasks concurrently.
• Strong communication skills and fluency in both Spanish and English.
