Job Title:Accountant-Japanese Bilingual Location:Addison, TX Work Hours:9:00 AM – 6:00 PM (8 hrs/day, negotiable) Work Style:Hybrid FLSA Status:Non-exempt Experience Level:2–3+ years accounting experience Language:Japanese/English bilingual (writing & speaking) Overview: We are looking for an experienced Accountant to support daily accounting operations, ensure compliance, and help maintain the financial health of the organization. This role involves handling payments, reporting, reconciliations, and communication with internal and external stakeholders. Key Responsibilities: • Process daily payments (wire/ACH/check) and record entries • Issue invoices to customers and track receivables • Maintain ledgers, journals, and financial records • Prepare financial statements (BS, PL, CF) • Support month-end and year-end closing • Analyze financial data and discrepancies • Prepare consolidation package for HQ • Reconcile accounts and analyze variances • Ensure tax and regulatory compliance (e.g., 1099, estimated tax, sales/use tax) • Handle business license registrations and renewals in new states • File annual reports to states and municipalities • Work with internal teams to provide financial support • Participate in audits and provide documentation • Stay up to date with accounting regulations • Other duties as assigned Qualifications: • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field • 2–3+ years relevant experience in corporate or professional setting • Familiarity with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, Dynamics) • Strong Excel and analytical skills • Accuracy, attention to detail, and problem-solving ability • Clear communication with non-finance teams • Able to manage multiple tasks and deadlines • Organized and discreet with sensitive information Benefits: • Competitive salary based on experience • 100% company-paid medical, dental, and vision insurance • 401(k) retirement plan • Paid time off • Opportunities for growth and development • Supportive, team-oriented environment To apply please email your resume [email protected]
