What You’ll Do This isn’t a generic accounting role – it’s all about commercial real estate. As our Staff Accountant, you will: · Review and interpret commercial lease agreements. · Prepare and reconcile CAM (Common Area Maintenance) charges and annual reconciliations. · Ensure accurate tenant billing for rent, CAM, and recoverable expenses. · Assist with monthly closes, reconciliations, and property financial reporting. · Work closely with property managers and tenants to resolve billing questions. What We’re Looking For · Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. · 2–4 years of accounting experience in commercial real estate REQUIRED. · Hands-on experience reviewing commercial leases and preparing CAM reconciliations (non-negotiable). · Proficiency with Yardi, MRI, or similar property management/accounting software. · Detail-oriented, organized, and comfortable communicating with tenants and team members.
