What You'll Do (Responsibilities):
· Collaborate on reviewing financial statements and working closely with external property managers.
· Accurately record and manage asset acquisitions, sales, and transfers
· Track notes, preferred returns and calculate payoff amounts
· Support and contribute to successful HUD Audits.
· Lead or assist with special projects as requested, driving process improvements and strategic initiatives.
· Perform other essential job-related duties to support our dynamic team.
What You’ll Bring (Qualifications):
· 5+ years of progressive general ledger accounting experience with a strong foundational knowledge.
· Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field
· Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (e.g., VLOOKUPs, SUMIFS, etc).
· Exceptional organizational skills with a proven ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines effectively.
· Demonstrated ability to learn new systems and adapt to evolving processes quickly.
· Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving abilities.
· Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
· Preferred:
o Experience with multi-company and inter-company accounting.
o Proficiency in QuickBooks Desktop
