Accountant

Job Overview We are seeking a detail-oriented and skilled Accountant to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations, and providing insightful financial analysis to support decision-making. This role requires a strong understanding of accounting principles and practices, as well as the ability to work collaboratively. Responsibilities • Perform balance sheet reconciliation to ensure accuracy of financial statements. • Conduct financial analysis to identify trends and variances in financial performance. • Manage general ledger reconciliation, ensuring all transactions are recorded accurately. • Execute account analysis to maintain the integrity of financial data. • Apply knowledge of debits and credits in daily accounting tasks. • Utilize double entry bookkeeping methods to maintain accurate records. Qualifications • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance preferred. • Proven experience in accounting roles with a strong understanding of accounting principles. • Familiarity with balance sheet reconciliation, financial analysis, general ledger reconciliation, and account analysis is essential. • Knowledge of accounts receivable processes and debits/credits management is required. • Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy. • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team environment. • Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel is preferred.
