What you will do as Accounting Associate

• Ensure that all monthly, quarterly, and annual taxes are filed and paid timely and correctly.
• Process VAT refund application on a quarterly basis.
• Reconcile tax reports with general ledger and payroll.
• Support during audit period.
• Ensure that all tax related documents soft copy and hard copy are updated.
• Make certain that the company is always aware and updated on the latest tax regulations issuance of the BIR.
• Coordinate with BIR examiners during refund or audit.
• Initiates corrective action for all the denied transactions.
• Has knowledge in processing vendor payments in accordance with the BIR compliances and Accounting Standards.
• Do ad hoc tasks from time to time.

What ClearSource Needs from You

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, a CPA is a plus
• Minimum of 1 year experience as a tax assistant or similar role
• New graduates of Accounting are also welcome to apply
• Payroll process knowledge or experience is a plus
• Good understanding of MS Office and MS Excel functions
• In-depth knowledge of accounting and bookkeeping processes
• Strong attention to detail with excellent analytical skills
• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
