About the Role

Packsize is looking for an experienced and self-motivated Accountant who will be a member of a cohesive team environment for contract review, deferred revenue, rebate tracking, filing sales tax, and invoicing. You will partner with our Accounting team ensuring we are filing sales tax accurately and on time, reviewing new customer contracts to ensure proper billing, and maintaining and reconciling deferred revenue accounts. Packsize teams will collaborate with this role to ensure proper billing and revenue recognition. Your ability to effectively collaborate and communicate with others will be vital to your success in this role. You will be an essential part to ensure that Packsize can continue to operate in an innovative, problem solving, solution focused team environment. The role reports to the Accounting Manager.

What You'll Do

• Invoice Data Entry
• Invoice 3-way matching
• Help employees with expense program and processing
• Communicate with vendors and team members on inquiries and issues revolving around your job duties.
• Foster effective communication with internal employees and vendors regarding purchase orders, invoices, and payment status
• Perform month-end close tasks associated with duties as needed.
• Provide assistance with external audit support
• Perform other accounting related duties as assigned or required
• Perform ad-hoc projects, as required

What You'll Bring

• 2+ years experience in Accounting
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or associated field
• Ability to operate accounting software programs
• Communicating with others to exchange information verbally and in writing
• Can work independently and maintain confidentiality
• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects at the same time
• Willing to take initiative, think creatively, and solve complex problems
• Other systems commonly used: SAP, SalesForce, Basware, Microsoft Office, Google Suite, DOMO, Slack, Zoom (experience preferred but not required)

Physical Demands and Working Conditions:

• Reside in Salt Lake City, Utah
• Ability to work in an office environment; sitting for extended periods and move about an office
• Light work that includes moving objects up to 20 pounds
• Repetitive movements
• May work remotely periodically - Comfortable with hybrid setting

Salary and Benefits

*The salary range for this role is $22.00 USD - $25.00 USD per hour; however, Packsize considers several factors when determining compensation when extending a job offer, including but not limited to, the role being offered, the associated responsibilities, the candidate's prior work experience, education/training, and any special skills.
