Accounting Associate

Job Summary WisLab EMS is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Accounting Associate to join our dynamic finance team. This role is crucial to our financial health, focusing on accounts receivable and credit management while also providing vital support for accounts payable and month-end processes. Key Responsibilities Accounts Receivable & Credit Management (60%) • Perform credit analysis on new and existing customers by reviewing trade reports, references, and financial data to recommend appropriate credit limits. • Maintain a clean and accurate accounts receivable aging report by proactively managing collections for your assigned accounts. • Communicate professionally with customers via phone and email to resolve discrepancies, address billing inquiries, and secure timely payment on overdue balances. • Collaborate with the sales team and Accounting Manager to investigate and resolve customer disputes, chargebacks, and other billing issues promptly. • Ensure all collection and credit activities adhere to WisLab EMS policies and procedures. • Offer support for Accounts Receivable functions as required.. General Accounting & Support (40%) • Provide backup support by processing accounts payable invoices to enhance departmental resiliency. • Assist the Accounting Manager with month-end closing procedures and the preparation of financial reports. • Contribute to financial audits by preparing schedules and providing necessary documentation. • Participate in special projects and perform other duties as assigned by the Finance Manager. Qualifications: • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Business, Finance, Computer Science/Systems, or a related field; or an associate degree plus 1+ year of Accounts Receivable or credit experience. • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel. • Strong oral and written communication skills for both internal and external audiences. • Bilingual in English and Mandarin preferred.
