Job Description

Accounting Executive Senior Associate plays a crucial role in ensuring the financial health and reporting of the organisation. Their responsibilities typically encompass a range of tasks covering all Carousell Entities.

You will:

• Support the RTR team in doing the monthly activities including but no limited to accruals, prepayments, fixed assets and lease accounting for all the Carousell entities.

• Ensure accurate and timely recording of financial transactions specifically during finance month-end closing and related to RTR activities

• Prepare monthly account schedules and reconciliations

• Communicate financial information and updates to finance controllers across Company entities

• Address inquiries and provide clarification on financial matters related to RTR activities

Qualifications

Skills & Competencies:

• Must possess at least a Bachelor’s degree or College degree in Accountancy (preferred but not required)

• Must have at least 3 years of experience in General accounting, with experience in shared service centre - RTR function is desirable

Technical Skill Set Requirement

• Strong communication skills and demonstrate ability to partner with business stakeholders.

• Assertive and subject matter expert in revenue reporting

• Good analytical ability

• Computer literacy, especially in Windows and other commonly used Accounting software

• Attention to detail

• Ability to work under pressure and adaptable to change
