Position Overview
Our client seeks a detail-oriented, experienced Accounting Manager to lead their accounting team. This role is essential to maintaining accurate financial records and supporting our clients' continued growth in the corporate housing industry. The successful candidate will manage high-volume financial transactions while ensuring compliance with accounting standards and company policies.
Key Responsibilities
Accounts Payable
• Process high-volume accounts payable transactions with accuracy and efficiency
• Review, code, and approve vendor invoices for payment
• Maintain vendor files and resolve payment discrepancies
• Coordinate with unit managers, property managers, and vendors to resolve billing issues
Accounts Receivable
• Manage accounts receivable processes including invoicing and collections
• Monitor aging reports and follow up on past due accounts
• Process customer payments and maintain accurate customer records
• Coordinate with sales and operations teams regarding billing matters
Payroll Administration
• Process bi-weekly payroll for under 10 employees
• Maintain employee payroll records and handle payroll-related inquiries
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll regulations
• Coordinate with CEO on new hires, terminations, and payroll changes
Financial Reconciliation & Reporting
• Perform monthly bank reconciliations and account reconciliations for multiple accounts
• Prepare and post journal entries as needed
• Assist with month-end and year-end closing procedures
• Prepare monthly and annual financial statements and reports
General Accounting
• Maintain accurate and organized financial records
• Assist with budget preparation and variance analysis
• Support annual audit processes
• Handle special projects as assigned
Required Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred
• Minimum 5 years of accounting experience, preferably in property management or real estate
• Strong proficiency in QuickBooks Online and Payroll
• Experience with high-volume accounts payable and accounts receivable processing
• Solid understanding of GAAP and accounting principles
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Office applications as well as GSuite products
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
• Self-Starter and Quick-Thinker
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
Preferred Qualifications
• Experience with CodeOne Portal software
• Property management or corporate housing industry experience
• Knowledge of California payroll and employment regulations
• Experience with financial reporting and analysis

Pay: $85,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
Expected hours: 40 per week
