This position will be fully on-site in our Austin, TX office at the intersection of 360 and 2222.
As our Accounting Manager at Talroo, you will:
- Oversee all aspects of financial management, including accounting, expense management, and reporting.
- Manage the day-to-day activities of the accounting team, including invoicing, accounts payable, collections and bank reconciliations, while providing guidance, mentorship, and hands-on support.
- Ensure accuracy and integrity of financial data and compliance with relevant regulations and accounting standards.
- Prepare timely and accurate financial reports, including monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Develop and maintain financial policies, procedures, and internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure financial stability.
- Collaborate with other departments to analyze financial performance, identify trends, and provide insights to support decision-making.
- Assist in the annual budgeting process and provide ongoing visibility to expenses to support strategic planning and resource allocation.
- Manage relationships with external auditors, tax advisors, and other financial service providers.
- Stay abreast of industry trends, regulatory changes, and best practices in financial management.
What we are looking for in a highly qualified candidate:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- CPA certification required.
- Proven experience (5+ years) in a financial management role, preferably in a tech company or related industry.
- Deep knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting standards.
- Working knowledge of Netsuite highly preferred.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop team members.
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities, with keen attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- High level of integrity, ethics, and professionalism.
- Must reside in the greater Austin metro area.
