JOB DESCRIPTION
JOB SUMMARY
Maintains the financial health and integrity of the organization by developing and implementing systems for collecting, analyzing, verifying, and reporting financial information; Responsible for overseeing the Accounting department.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS/DUTIES
• Accomplishes accounting and human resource objectives by recruiting, selecting, orienting, training, assigning, and scheduling work.
• Effectively leads team members through delegating, motivating, communicating, coaching, counseling, and disciplining employees.
• Financial Statement Preparation. This includes reviewing and analyzing financial statements prior to distribution, and ensuring statements are accurate and correct, review financial statement package before distribution.
• Ensure all tax payments are made on time.
• Protects assets by establishing, monitoring, and enforcing internal controls.
• Monitors and confirms financial condition by conducting audits; providing information to external auditors.
• Analyzing actual manufacturing costs and preparing periodic reports comparing standard costs to actual production costs.
• Provides management with reports specifying and comparing factors affecting prices and profitability of programs.
• Provides status of financial condition by collecting, interpreting, and reporting financial data.
• Complies with federal, state, and local legal requirements by enforcing adherence to established requirements; filing financial reports; advising management on needed actions.
• Collects data to prepare key financial metrics including spreadsheets, graphs, charts, pivot tables, etc.
• Responsible for month end process. This includes: running the month end processes, preparation of and review of journal entries, and preparation of and review of reconciliations.
• Maintains financial security by establishing internal controls.

QUALIFICATIONS
• Bachelors in Accounting or finance
• 7-10 years of experience: general ledger, supervision/leadership
• Understanding of legal compliance and GAAP
• ERP system experience (Infor Syteline preferred)
• Strong problem-solving skills
• Can work independently and part of a team
• Excellent communication skills; both written and oral
• Experience in manufacturing a plus
• Experience using Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, and Teams.
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced, deadline-orientated setting
• Strong organizational skills
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $95,000.00 - $130,554.00 per year
