JOB DESCRIPTION Accounting Manager North Central San Antonio Salary:$125,000-145,000 DOE Overview We’re looking for an Accounting Manager to oversee accounting operations, financial reporting, and compliance across a diverse real estate portfolio. This is a hands-on role with a mix of technical accounting, investor reporting, and leadership responsibilities, including managing a small accounting team and contributing to strategic finance initiatives. What You’ll Do as the Accounting Manager • Lead month-end and year-end close processes and prepare consolidated financial statements. • Manage bank reconciliations, loan draws, cash flow reporting, and partner distributions. • Oversee payroll processing, 401(k) contributions, and partnership tax compliance (including K-1s). • Coordinate with auditors and tax professionals for annual audits and reviews. • Track capital contributions, allocations, and distributions across complex partnership structures. • Monitor project-level performance, debt compliance, and financial covenants. • Supervise and mentor accounting staff while ensuring accuracy and timeliness in A/R and A/P functions. • Drive process improvements to strengthen reporting, efficiency, and operational controls. • Provide special project analysis and ad hoc reporting for leadership and investors.
