We’re expanding our team and looking for an Accounting Manager who can bring diligence and ownership to our accounting function. Role Description We’re hiring an experienced, detail-oriented Accounting Manager to lead our accounting function at a pivotal stage of growth. This role is hands-on, with a strong emphasis on billing and revenue management, but also offers the opportunity to shape our reporting and financial systems as we scale. This role reports to the General Manager and works closely with operations and leadership to ensure our finances are accurate, timely, and aligned with our growth. Key Responsibilities Billing (70%) • Oversee and execute billing for all projects, ensuring accuracy and timeliness. • Partner with operations to confirm scope, pricing, and documentation before invoicing. • Monitor accounts receivable and follow up on outstanding balances. Reporting (20%) • Prepare monthly financial reports and job costing summaries. • Provide management with insights into revenue, expenses, and cash flow. • Assist with budgeting and forecasting. Expense Tracking & Matching (10%) • Ensure vendor invoices are matched against POs and job costs. • Reconcile credit card and expense reports. • Support payroll allocations as needed. Qualifications • 5+ years of accounting experience, preferably in construction, electrical, or related industries. • Strong understanding of billing cycles, AR/AP, and financial reporting. • Proficiency with QuickBooks Online (or similar ERP/accounting systems). • Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills. • Comfortable working independently and proactively identifying improvements. • Strong communication skills for working across departments.
