Accounting Manager (PH)

The challenge

We are looking for an Accounting Manager to lead and support our offshore accounting team, collaborating closely with the US Finance team. This role involves overseeing accounts payable (AP), accounts receivable (AR), and cash application/collection processes, ensuring all tasks are managed accurately and efficiently, especially during peak periods like month-end close. The Accounting Manager will provide hands-on assistance when needed, guiding team members through daily operations and promoting professional growth with a focus on accounting best practices.

What you will help us deliver

• Provide leadership and mentoring to PH-based team members, promoting professional growth and adherence to accounting best practices.
• Train and support junior accounting staff in accounting processes, reconciliations, and financial reporting.
• Manage and monitor workloads of team members to ensure timely completion of tasks, especially during peak periods such as month-end close.
• Will be hands-on, actively supporting the team with AP/AR, cash collection/application, month-end-close, expense reimbursements, credit card review and reconciliations
• Collaborate closely with US-based Finance team 

Minimum Qualifications

• Adept in using NetSuite and Microsoft Excel
• Experience in managing Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), and cash collection processes.
• Team Leadership experience and excellent organizational skills
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Strong problem-solving abilities and the capacity to handle sensitive and confidential information.
• Ability to meet tight deadlines and work in a fast-paced environment
• BS degree in Accounting, Finance, or any related field
• Exceptional English communications, both written and verbal, for effective collaboration with U.S.-based teams
• Ability to work Monday to Friday, 9AM-6PM EST

• Experience with US 1099 Filing requirements
• Experience with Brex
• Experience with FloQast
• Experience with bill.com / ZoneBilling
• Experience with Centime
