Purpose & Scope

This position is responsible for data management of JBS Live Pork breeding stock assets, overseeing accurate information, and working closely with management to provide support and reporting. This person will ensure proper processes are in place and followed for the validation of assets.

Essential Responsibilities

Functions may include but are not limited to-

• Manage the data entry into multiple systems for all Dalhart Farms
• Validation of data in reporting system and accounting system
• Provide support to management teams using problem solving skills and reporting functions
• Work together as a team to ensure all assets are maintained in a timely manner
• Communicate with key players progress and improvement opportunities
• Performs other duties assigned by Management as needed
• Prepare invoices for customers
• Track and adjust inventory transactions
• Prepare journal entries and spreadsheets
• Track and input accounts payable invoices for purchase orders
• Prepare wire and special payment forms for vendor payment
• Follow up on questions from vendors
• Other tasks will include assisting with A/P, Journal entries, Reconciliations, and various other accounting tasks

Required Qualifications:

• Accounts payable/accounting experience
• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Detail oriented - strong attention to details in fast paced environment
• Strong sense of urgency and ability to meet deadlines
• Effective communication skills across disciplines (verbal and written)
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, specifically Excel
• Great customer service
• English Required

Preferred Qualifications:

Accounting Principles experience/knowledge

Travel: Minimum required with potential overnight travel
