JOB SUMMARY

The Accounting Specialist III (Accounts Payable) plays an integral role within the finance team.  This position is responsible for full cycle accounts payable functions.  

 

ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Detail oriented full cycle accounts payable specialist
  • Ensure vendor invoices and payments are processed timely and with accuracy
  • AP experience in Biotech or manufacturing environment a plus; candidate needs to be able prioritize tasks
  • Processing both 3 Way and 2 Way PO invoice matching
  • Ability to maintain great partnership with cross functional teams and external vendors
  • Research and resolve invoice related discrepancies, reconcile vendor statement, approval status  
  • Ensure compliance with all regulatory and tax requirements including self-assessment of use tax when applicable and assist with 1099 filing
  • Assist with MISC ad-hoc projects such as audit support,1099, GRNI reconciliation etc...
  • Matching payment remittance to invoices & filing 

 LEADERSHIP SKILLS

  • Must be a highly motivated, creative problem solver, with the proven ability to use independent judgment and initiative to identify problems and recommend solutions.
  • Must be customer service oriented, with strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Must be detailed and organized with the ability to consistently meet deadlines and show flexibility with changing priorities
  • Demonstrated ability to work well with vendors and other departments within the organization

 

QUALIFICATIONS

Required:

  • HS diploma plus 5+ years’ related General Ledger and A/P experience required
  • Strong computer and financial system/ERP experience required
  • Intermediate proficiency with MS Excel, Access, Word, Outlook


Preferred:

  • Bachelors’ Degree in Accounting or Finance preferred
  • Experience with MS Dynamics AX highly preferred


Physical Requirements (US Only):

  • Position will require manual tasks such as matching payment remittance to invoices & filing.
  • Stand or sit for prolonged periods of time; occasionally stoop, bend, kneel, crouch, reach, and twist; to lift carry, push, and/or pull to moderate amounts of weight; operate office equipment requiring repetitive hand movement and fine coordination

 

COMPENSATION RANGE:

$53,360.00-$73,370.00 


Fluctuations in the job market may necessitate adjustments to pay ranges. Final pay determinations will depend on various factors, including, but not limited to experience levels, knowledge, skills, and abilities.

Benefits available to Team Members include subsidized insurance for the Team Member and designated dependents (medical, vision, dental, life and disability), eligibility to participate in the AGC Biologics 401(k) plan (including a generous matching contribution from the company and immediate vesting), vacation, sick time, and parental leave.

Team Members are also eligible to receive a discretionary annual bonus commensurate to the level of the role. The payout is based on both the company’s performance and the Team Member’s performance.
