Accounts Receivable Analyst

As an AR Accountant you will be pivotal in HackerRank's mission to “Accelerate the World’s Innovation.” You are excited to make an impact and enjoy invoicing customers and recording revenue. The Finance team seeks an Accounts Receivable Analyst who thrives in a fast-paced rapidly changing environment. This position is responsible for ensuring timely and accurate customer invoicing revenue recording and receipts application. Additionally this person will support senior leadership by assisting with audit requests quarter-end close and other demands as they arise. The role reports to our Accounts Payable/Receivable Manager. It is an excellent fit for a highly motivated individual who takes the initiative to solve problems and enjoys the opportunity to improve existing processes.

What you will be working on:

• Gather and verify invoices for appropriate documentation before payment

• Maintain accounts receivable records to ensure aging is up to date credits and collections are applied uncollectible amounts are accounted for and miscellaneous differences are cleared

• Perform daily cash management duties including the recording of bank deposits updating and distribution of cash receipt logs and posting of cash to the accounts receivable sub-ledger

• Monitor and collect accounts receivable by contacting clients via telephone email and mail

• Prepare analytical and ratio analyses relevant to A/R so management can gain a better understanding of how collection efforts are progressing

• Support other accounting and finance team members inventory management and cost accounting

We are looking for:

• Strong mathematical skills

• Understanding of basic principles of finance accounting and

• bookkeeping

• Superb time management and detail orientation

• Ability to keep company and partner confidence

• Proficiency with Excel NetSuite

Nice to have:

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent

• Experience in accounts receivable

• Experience in driving process improvement
