ACH Specialist- 9am- 5pm (hybrid work schedule) - Phoenix, Arizona

Responsible for accurately performing functions related to ACH transactions in compliance with regulatory and bank policies and procedures. Responsible for daily Automated Clearing House Origination procedures, including processing ACH files from clients and internal systems; returns, reversals, rejects, death notification entries, reclamations, perform OFAC verification, process exception items, implement and maintain ACH contract setups for ACH Origination clients. Pull and review daily reports, reconciliations and data entry in accordance with bank and regulatory guidance. Responsible to learn and understand Federal Regulation E, The Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC) and NACHA Operating Rules and Guidelines. Manage workflow to optimize efficiency in day-to-day activities. Identify customer and business partner needs using effective troubleshooting methods. Performs transactional research, problem solving and some technical issues. Provide outstanding customer service to bank Requires High School diploma or equivalent and some experience with accounting, balancing, banking and electronic payment processing, ACH systems or other directly related experience. A combination of education and experience may meet job requirements. Basic knowledge of accounting, balancing, banking, electronic payment processing or other directly related. Must have good research, customer service and communication skills, both verbal and written. Ability to meet deadlines, resolve issues with assistance/direction. Good PC skills. Knowledge of ACH systems helpful.
